Harvard Grads Are Shaking Up the Education World with a Bold New Venture

Meet Lucia and Mandy, two SHEntrepreneurs, recent graduates from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, who are teaming up to launch something exciting, and it’s all about making a real impact in the education ecosystem. From their classroom experience, passion for education, and leadership, they’re combining what they’ve learned at Harvard and the power of edtech to tackle a void that is much needed in the education ecosystem. 

Introducing TeachMeets, a new app that focuses on building community among professionals in the education community. This includes not only our teachers but also any education professionals, such as social workers, school psychologists, paraeducators, and others.  

We’ve been in the classroom. We know what we, as teachers, go through when preparing lessons to teach, searching for additional resources to meet specific subject matter learning needs, and understanding Education Specialists on goal practice planning, among other tasks. This is just a glimpse into a teacher's day; needless to say, the list of deliverables goes on and beyond.  

Now, through TeachMeets, we aim to create a platform that unites our teaching and education professional community, enabling us to connect, regardless of our proximity, and share valuable resources, learn from each other's expertise, and foster creativity. 

The details are still under wraps, but the buzz is loud! With a mix of heart, expertise, and innovation, these Harvard grads, SHEntreprenures, Lucia and Mandy, are showing that we are all a community of educators who make a difference in what we do every day!
